Coronavirus Update in Ghana.

 Confirmed cases of COVID19
The ministry of heath has confirmed two cases of coronavirus  now adding to become 11 .





Ghana's coronavirus case  count hits 204

Until now, the number of cases recorded stood at 195.
According to the GHS, "Since the last situational update, Ghana has confirmed nine additional COVID-19 cases, all from Greater Accra region. Four (4) of them have no history of travel nor contact with any confirmed case. Other four (4) have no travel history but are contacts of confirmed cases in Ghana; and one travelled to Ghana from Benin within the past 14 days.

"As at 2nd April 2020, Ghana has recorded 204 cases COVID-19 with five (5) deaths. The number of regions reporting cases remain five (5) (Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Upper West and Eastern). The Greater Accra Region has most of the cases (183) followed by the Northern Region (10), Ashanti Region (9), Upper West Region (1) and Eastern Region (1).

"Most of the cases are reported from routine/enhanced surveillance activities. Cases from travellers under mandatory quarantine remain 89."

According to the GHS, two individuals are currently in critical condition.

The death toll is five.

The Hecta Old Students Association Year 2000 Group Made A charitable donation to Pure Heart Orphanage Home

The Hecta Old Students  Association Year 2000 group led by  Chairman James Asante Boateng has again fulfilled its obligation of love to the Pure Heart Orphanage Home at Liberia Camp in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region of Ghana. The foundation on Saturday, April 15, 2023, gave away food products, school supplies, bags of water, clothing and footwear, to name a few to the orphanage at Buduburam. The worth of the donation was about GHS10,000 and the items were selected after carefully evaluating what the orphanage required this season. The Hecta Old Students Association establishment was inspired by God's love for mankind which He demonstrated by sending his only begotten Son Jesus to earth to be a sacrifice for our salvation. Since its inception in 2021, HECTA Old Students Association  has engaged in a number of philanthropic endeavors.
