UPDATE- Konongo Odumase Senior High School Murder Suspects Remanded Into Police Custody

 Five juvenile suspects have been sent to a juvenile detention centre at Juaboso in the Ashanti Akim South Municipality of the Ashanti Region.


Emmanuel Osei Frimpong was charged with murder while the four were charged with abetting crime.

According to the Konongo Divisional police Commander, Chief Supt. Shaibu Osei spoke to journalists after the court proceedings.

He explained that, the five juvenile suspects, Emmanuel Osei Frimpong alias Tupac, Akwasi Amoah Karikari alias Demon, Kwame Afrane Snr, Kwame Afrane Jnr and Obed Agyei,  standing trial for their roles in allegedly stabbing a Form One student leading to his death,

were arraigned at the District Court, which also serves as a Juvenile Court, today, Monday, November 8, presided over by Her Worship Miss Joyce Bamfo on provisional charges of Abetment of Murder, and Murder Contrary to Sections 20 and 46 of the Criminal Offences Act (Act 29).

All five suspects are to reappear on Monday, November 15, 2021.

Government can’t afford to reduce taxes on fuel; we’ll lose GH¢4bn revenue –Prez Akufo-Addo.

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has dismissed calls on the government to reduce taxes on petroleum products. He said taking such an action will significantly affect the government’s revenues. Man jailed 8 years for sodomising a 7-year-old girl

  A 21-year-old trader who sodomised a seven-year-old girl at North Kaneshie in Accra has been sentenced to eight years imprisonment by an Accra Circuit Court. Anuze Salifu, charged with defilement, denied the offence. However, after the trial, the court presided over by Mrs Christina Cann, found Salifu guilty and sentenced him. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Agnes Boafo, the prosecutor, said the complainant was a trader residing at North Kaneshie, Accra with the victim and her other siblings.
