Leadership experts praise Akufo-Addo’s handling of coronavirus crisis in Ghana President Nana Akufo-Addo’s management of the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana has received rave commendations from notable experts in leadership in Ghana. Prof Baffour Agyeman-Duah, Dr Kobby Mensah and Dr Etse Sikanku were unanimous in their approvals of how the government has handled the crisis since the first case of Covid-19 was reported in Ghana in the latter part of March this year The commendations by the experts come despite contrary views from a section of the public, particularly from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), that  some the decisions by the President have been poor. Eric Dier: Tottenham midfielder charged by FA after confronting fan Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier has been charged by the Football Association after he climbed over seats to confront a fan after a match in March. The incident happened after Spurs were  knocked out of the FA Cup at home by Norwich . "Eric Dier has been charged with misconduct for a breach of FA Rule E3," the FA said in a statement. "It is alleged that his actions at the conclusion of the fixture were improper and/or threatening." Dier has until 8 May 2020 to respond. Uefa keen on sporting merit qualification method for European competitions Uefa has urged clubs to "explore all possible options" to finish domestic seasons and use "a different format" if needed in order for teams to qualify for European competitions. European football's governing body wants clubs to qualify for European competitions through "sporting merit". If league seasons cannot be finished it said national associations would need to select clubs to qualify for Europe. Uefa said it could "refuse or evaluate" selected teams if necessary. Australia lorry crash: Four police officers killed in Melbourne Image copyright Image caption The lorry hit officers at the side of the Eastern Freeway in Kew Four Australian police officers have been killed in a crash involving a lorry in the city of Melbourne. The police chief for the state of Victoria said it was the worst loss of life in the history of the state's police force. Officers had pulled over a car for speeding on a motorway when the lorry ploughed into them, officials said. The driver of the car - a Porsche 911 sports car - fled the scene and is being sought by police. Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton said the lorry driver was under guard in hospital and would be tested for alcohol and drugs. He said the incident happened after two of the officers pulled over the Porsche on to the hard shoulder of Melbourne's Eastern Freeway near Kew on Tuesday at about 17:40 local time (08:40 GMT). Mampong Akuapim: Traditional Council threatens mass burial over congested morgue The Mampong Akwapim Traditional Council has issued a one-month ultimatum to all families with bodies at the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital morgue to claim them for burial. The Council says failure to do that will see officials of the hospital undertake a mass burial. According to the Council, the decision was taken after a meeting with the management of the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital, one of the biggest hospitals in the area, in order to free up space in the morgue. In an announcement on Tuesday, Barca said the stadium rights would be ceded to the club’s foundation to sell on to a title sponsor.
