Keche’s former manager, George Britton apologizes to Edem for insulting him

Keche’s former manager, George Britton apologizes to Edem for insulting him

Edem and George Britton

Ghanaian media personality and artiste manager, George Britton has rendered an apology to Edem after their recent fracas on social media.
The former manager of Keche in a post sighted by Zionfelix.net on Facebook said it would be imperative for them to fight against the system that hinders the growth of musicians in the country rather than fighting among themselves.
He stated that musicians and industry players can reach greater heights as a unified body.
George Britton wrote: “Rather than fighting amongst ourselves, let’s fight the system that has impoverished the Ghanaian musician. We need a better industry, and with that in mind, I will apologize to my brother Edem Goget’em for engaging in an ugly social media banter. As colleagues and mates in the industry, we should have a united front in this fight. We can only win when we are together, divided we fail. #LetsWinTogether #GeorgeBritton.”
His apology follows a statement made by the PRO for Edem, calling on him to do so.
Edem’s PRO described George’s comment as shallow when speaking in an interview with Dr Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’.
Edem and George’s disagreement started after the latter said in a discussion on Joy Prime’s ‘Showbiz Now’ with KMJ on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, that the Ghana music industry will be inactive without Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
In the midst of their argument, George Britton told Edem to wake up from his sleep, work hard and learn how to stay relevant in the music scene.
