Dutch second-tier side FC Dordrecht terminated the loan deal of Manchester City-owned Aminu Mohammed after just TWO months because they were not convinced about his artistry, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The club took the decision in November 2019 to prematurely end his stay because the 18-year-old did not meet their expectations after all the hype surrounding the former WAFA SC talisman.
Mohammed was sent out to the Eerste Divisie side at the end of August to gain first team experience but had to wait for a month to join them due to visa problems.
He could not fit in at the club and made the match day squad just once in the home game against Helmond Sport.
FC Dordrecht head coach Claudio Braga confirmed Aminu's departure after 1-1 draw with TOP Oss.
''In the end, Aminu turned out not to be the sort of player we were looking for," he said. "Then it was not good for us to continue together."
Aminu was highly-rated during his spell in the Ghana Premier League where he scored three goals in four matches and was named Player of the Month for March 2018.
It was reported that Manchester City beat Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to sign him in 2017.
